Questionnaire for Screening of Retribution

Ok below is the questionnaire. Let me know if you want me to add any questions or think some are unnecessary. Thanks.

• Where do you think the film opening was made? E.g. America, Britain, France etc
• What type of cinema would you expect it to be shown in (big multiplex like UGC, UCI or independent one off like Screen on the Green, or The Phoenix)? (not sure about this question... would non-media students really be able to answer this. I've never seen a film at either of those independant cinemas. Also surely some independant films could show at a big multiplex cinema- e.g. Blair Witch Project?- Angela)
• Who do you think it’s suitable for/ targeted at (age, gender, tastes etc)?
  
• What genre do you think this film is and what leads you to this decision? E.g. Action Adventure, Comedy etc.
• Can you identify the characters you have seen (who they are, the role they play, the relationship between them etc)
• What do you think happens in the sequence?
• What do you think this film is actually about? What themes does it include? E.g. revenge, stalking, gang violence etc
• Do you think the opening sequence works? Does it introduce the film successfully, the characters, the genre, the story? (maybe split this one up a bit or people might not address all the questions and we are sorta establishing whether it introduces the film successfully in other questions like 'what do you think happens in this sequence? and they might just say 'yes'. how about does it seem like the opening to a thriller film? why?- angela )

• What, in your opinion, could be improved?
• Would you want to watch the rest of the film, based on what you’ve seen so far? And why?
